We’re building an automated tender-tracking system for TradeCore Construction using Zoho CRM, Make.com, and Google Workspace. The goal is to automatically collect and manage public construction tenders from multiple sources — NBON, MERX, city portals, CanadaBuys, etc. How it works: Make.com runs scenarios every few hours to fetch tenders (via RSS feeds or web scraping), clean and filter them, and calculate a relevance score based on keywords, value, region, and source. The data is written to a shared Google Sheet for logging and backup. Make.com then connects to Zoho CRM, creating or updating records in a custom Tenders module with fields like Title, Source, Issuing Authority, Region, Close Date, Estimated Value, and Relevance Score. The CRM acts as the team’s central dashboard, where users can update tender status (Open, Bidding, Awarded, etc.) and record outcomes. A daily summary email (via Gmail) lists new tenders, and optional reminders go out when tenders are closing soon. In short: It’s a fully automated workflow using Zoho CRM for data management, Make.com for automation, Google Sheets for tracking, and Gmail for notifications — removing manual data entry and giving the team real-time visibility on new opportunities.
