Project Title: Custom WordPress Theme Development for Huella Andina (No Unnecessary Dependencies, Compatible with WooCommerce, WPML & ACF) Project Description: We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to create a fully custom theme to replace our current site (www.huellandina.com), which is currently built with Oxygen Builder. Objective: eliminate dependencies on page builders and unnecessary plugins, while maintaining all existing functionality (including WooCommerce, WPML, and ACF) and ensuring compatibility with PHP 8.3+ and future updates. The site already operates with WPML and WooCommerce; therefore, implementation of these features is not required. The new theme must preserve all current functionality. Key Requirements 1. Structure and Content Reproduce all existing pages and templates. Product/program pages currently use WooCommerce; the theme must maintain display and functionality. Migrate content from existing Oxygen-built pages to standard theme templates. 2. Content Management Maintain support for ACF. Reusable and admin-configurable templates. Existing contact forms must remain functional. 3. Multilingual Support WPML is already implemented; the theme must fully preserve its functionality. 4. Design and UX Keep current branding: colors, typography, and visual style. Clean, optimized, responsive, and fast code. Compatible with existing SEO plugins. 5. Optimization Reduce or eliminate the unnecessary plugins that are currently being used as Oxygen workarounds to keep the site running. Avoid external dependencies that are not critical. 6. Deliverables Custom WordPress theme installed on the staging site. Migration of critical Oxygen pages to new templates. Basic documentation for content management and maintenance. Candidate Requirements Proven experience in custom WordPress theme development. Strong knowledge of WooCommerce, WPML, and ACF. Portfolio of similar projects. Ability to deliver a clean, optimized theme compatible with PHP 8.3+.
