We are seeking a strong, independent IT professional to support our APAC region, primarily based in Hong Kong. This role will focus on providing on-site technical support, project assistance, and troubleshooting across a range of end-user technologies. Key Responsibilities:- Provide on-site desktop engineering support for end-users in Hong Kong. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with thin clients (Igel), VDI environments, Windows systems, Microsoft Teams (including Teams Phone), and audio-visual (AV) equipment.- Support project kickoffs and IT implementations that require in-person presence.- Collaborate with global IT teams to maintain consistency in standards and practices.- Communicate effectively with end-users, leveraging local language competency. Requirements:- Proven experience in desktop engineering or IT support roles with strong troubleshooting skills.- Technical knowledge of: • Thin client technologies (e.g., Igel) • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) • Microsoft Windows operating systems • Microsoft Teams and Teams Phone • General AV equipment and conference room systems- Strong independence and ability to work without daily supervision.- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in a local language (Cantonese/Mandarin) and English.- Ability to travel within the APAC region
