I need a lightweight, browser-based diary management system built specifically for my team of surveyors. Everything will live on the web so there’s nothing to install on individual machines, and all access will flow through one central administrator account that I control. Core functions I’m after: • A clean appointment-scheduling workflow where I can create, edit, cancel or reassign site visits in seconds. • Automatic client notifications (email or SMS—whichever is simpler to wire up) whenever an appointment is booked, moved or cancelled, so clients stay in the loop without extra phone calls. The interface must be intuitive for busy field staff who will check their schedules on tablets and laptops, but they will never need personal logins; the admin dashboard is the single point of control. A responsive design is therefore essential. Please build the back-end in a mainstream framework you’re comfortable supporting long-term (Laravel, Node, Django—happy to take your recommendation) and keep the database structure simple so future reporting exports are easy. Once complete, hand-over should include: 1. Source code with clear comments 2. A short README covering environment setup and deployment steps 3. Brief video or call-through so I can see the workflow live If you have done similar scheduling tools before, share a quick link or screenshots so I can gauge fit. Looking forward to getting this up and running soon.
