I’m building a custom construction management tool whose single, uncompromising focus is project scheduling. The core of the app is a web-based workspace where I can assign every task on a job site to the right crew or subcontractor, set start/finish dates, and see the ripple effect of any change in real time. Task assignment is non-negotiable; team members must receive clear, role-based dashboards that update instantly when I drag a task to a new slot on the timeline. Because this will run entirely in the browser, please architect it as a responsive SPA—React, Vue, or Svelte on the front end and any scalable backend you’re comfortable with (Node, Django, Laravel, etc.). A REST or GraphQL API is essential so the scheduler can later tie into cost-tracking or Gantt visualisation modules if I decide to add them.
