Curriculum Content Developer (British Curriculum – Year 3 to Year 11) Objective: To develop comprehensive and high-quality study materials, assessment papers, and past question paper compilations for Years 3 to 11 as per the British Curriculum, including Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) / Edexcel / Oxford standards. Scope of Work: 1. Curriculum Mapping & Planning: a. Review the British National Curriculum framework for each year group (Year 3–11). b. Identify and document subject-wise learning objectives, core topics, and competency outcomes per semester. c. Align content with the latest Cambridge / Edexcel / Oxford syllabus specifications. d. Develop a curriculum matrix indicating topics to be covered each semester, along with assessment weightage. 2. Study Material Development: a. Develop text-based study materials and lesson summaries aligned with approved textbooks and curriculum objectives. b. Include key concepts, learning outcomes, chapter-wise summaries, glossaries, and practice exercises. c. Prepare teacher’s notes and student workbooks to facilitate both instruction and self-learning. d. Ensure content follows age-appropriate pedagogy and British Curriculum standards. Subjects to be covered (for each Year 3–11): 1. English Language 2. English Literature 3. Mathematics 4. Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology for higher years) 5. History 6. Geography 7. ICT / Computer Science Optional: Business Studies, Economics (for Year 9–11) 3. Assessment Paper Creation: a. Design semester-wise assessment papers for Mid-term and End-term examinations. b. Each paper to include: c. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) d. Short-answer questions e. Long-answer / essay-type questions f. Problem-solving and analytical questions g. Prepare answer keys and marking schemes aligned with British grading rubrics. h. Ensure questions test concept understanding, critical thinking, and application skills. i. Develop differentiated assessment sets (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 difficulty). 4. Past Question Paper Compilation (5 Years) a. Collect, review, and format past 5 years of examination papers (where available) for each subject and year level. b. Standardise papers into a consistent layout and digital format. c. Prepare solution keys and examiner’s notes for reference. d. Tag each question according to syllabus topic and learning outcome (for analytics and reference). 5. Quality Assurance a. Conduct academic review by subject matter experts. b. Validate accuracy, relevance, and curriculum alignment. c. Proofread and edit all materials for clarity, grammar, and formatting consistency. d.
