I have a fresh Ubuntu box and I want it running TVheadend from the ground up, fully integrated with my Dish Server. Nothing is installed yet, so I need the whole workflow covered: package acquisition (or source compile if that proves cleaner), first-time configuration, tuner detection, channel scan, EPG grabbers, and the web UI set up with secure credentials. Once the backend is stable I also need the Dish Server side configured so every channel is mapped correctly and viewable through TVheadend’s front ends (Kodi, VLC, browser). Remote streaming and local recordings should both work before we wrap up, and I’d like a short text log of the commands/settings you used so I can reproduce the build later. Deliverables • TVheadend service installed as a systemd unit on Ubuntu • Dish Server recognised, all channels scanned and playable • EPG grabbing active and populating correctly • Admin and user accounts created with secure passwords • Step-by-step install/config notes (plain text) for my records I’ll give you SSH access as soon as we agree on a time to start.
