I want to take my travel and tourism business online with a fully-functioning e-commerce website that sells tours and packages end-to-end. From branding and UX design right through to launch and post-launch tweaks, I need someone who can own the entire build. Core objectives • A slick storefront that showcases each tour or package with rich photos, itineraries, pricing tiers and real-time availability. • A seamless booking funnel: choose dates, collect traveller details, upsell add-ons, accept secure payments (credit card, PayPal, preferably local gateways too). • A back-office dashboard where I can create, edit and retire products, control inventory, view orders and export reports. • Mobile-first performance and fast page load times to keep travellers engaged on the go. • SEO-ready structure plus basic on-page optimisation so I can start ranking for key destinations as soon as we go live. Platform preference My answer to the platform question was “Travel and tourism” because the standard options didn’t quite fit what I have in mind. I’m open to Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or even a specialised travel CMS—whichever will deliver hassle-free product management, easy plugin support for bookings and solid scalability. Guide me to the best choice and justify it in plain language. Deliverables 1. Wireframes and final UI mock-ups approved by me. 2. Full site development, including any necessary plugin or app setup. 3. Payment gateway configuration and test transactions. 4. Content population for an initial batch of tours (I will supply copy and images). 5. Launch on my domain with SSL, analytics and backup routine active. 6. Two weeks of post-launch support for bug fixes or minor tweaks. Acceptance criteria The first live booking with payment must flow through to the dashboard, trigger a confirmation email to the customer and notify me, all without manual intervention.
