About the Role We are looking for a Technical Expert to join our team at ITO (ride-hailing & delivery app) in Cairo. This person will be responsible for auditing, troubleshooting, and improving our current application while leading the technical direction of the platform. The role requires hands-on problem-solving as well as strategic thinking to ensure the app runs smoothly, securely, and scales effectively. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Audit the current application (backend, Android, iOS) and server infrastructure. • Identify and resolve existing technical issues (bugs, crashes, slow performance). • Manage and monitor servers, APIs, and third-party integrations (Google Maps, OTP, Payment Gateways). • Collaborate with the operations, customer service, and marketing teams to align tech solutions with business needs. • Lead the implementation of new features and improvements to enhance user experience. • Ensure system security, backups, and data protection. • Coordinate with developers (internal/external) and manage outsourcing when required. • Provide regular reports and recommendations on the app’s performance and scalability. ⸻ Requirements • Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Senior Developer, or Technical Expert in mobile app development. • Strong knowledge of Mobile Apps (Android + iOS) and Backend technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python or similar). • Hands-on experience with APIs, Google Maps, OTP systems, and Payment Gateways. • Solid understanding of Cloud Hosting & Servers (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, etc.). • Experience in ride-hailing, logistics, or delivery apps is a big plus. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the technical side of the business. ⸻ Compensation • Competitive salary based on experience (Full-time or Part-time options). • Opportunity to be part of a growing startup with regional expansion plans. ⸻ Location • Cairo, Egypt (with flexibility for remote work when needed).
