I’m looking for a senior engineer who can wear two hats at once: a hands-on Tech Lead who keeps a small team moving smoothly, and an architect who can shape the overall system while bringing modern reinforcement learning into real-world production. Day-to-day you’ll coach developers through code reviews, spot technical risks before they bite, and keep our Jira board honest. At the same time, you’ll sketch and refine a scalable, cloud-friendly architecture that lets us embed reinforcement learning into an existing ERP back end as well as a computer-vision pipeline now in prototype. We’re already working in Python; PyTorch is the preferred framework, though I’m open to TensorFlow or JAX where it makes sense. Expect to prove ideas quickly with baseline agents (PPO, Actor-Critic, or whatever you think is best), then guide the team in hardening them for production—tests, monitoring hooks, CI/CD, the works. By the end of the first phase I want to see: • a clear technical roadmap with identified risks and mitigation steps • an architecture document (diagrams + rationale) covering data flow from ERP tables or video frames all the way to RL inference and feedback • reference implementations that pass review and automated tests If you enjoy balancing leadership with deep technical problem-solving, let’s talk.
