I’m building a retail website inspired by Suitsupply.com where customers can tailor every purchase to their taste. The core of the build is a smooth, visually rich product-customization engine—think selecting a base suit or shoe, then choosing fabrics, tweaking the fit and, where possible, adding personal touches such as monograms. Clothing will be the hero category but the catalogue must also accommodate accessories and footwear so the navigation, variant logic and inventory structure need to scale beyond suits alone. A full e-commerce flow is required: category pages, persuasive product pages, persistent shopping cart, secure checkout, multiple payment gateways, shipping and tax rules, plus customer accounts for order tracking and re-ordering. On the back end I’ll need an admin dashboard for product uploads, inventory control and analytics. Deliverables • Responsive website with look-and-feel comparable to Suitsupply • Interactive product-customization module tied directly to inventory SKUs • End-to-end e-commerce (catalogue, cart, checkout, payments, shipping, tax) • Admin panel with role-based access and reporting • Deployment to production and hand-off documentation Acceptance criteria • Users can complete a customized purchase without page reloads and without errors on mobile and desktop • All custom selections pass correctly to the order record in the admin panel • Site scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed for mobile • Payment, tax and shipping calculations match live gateway settings in a test order I’m open to your preferred tech stack—Shopify plus a custom app, Magento with a product-configurator extension, or a headless build using React/Next.js and a commerce API—so long as the final experience matches Suitsupply’s polish and speed. If you’ve built similar configurators or high-end fashion storefronts before, let’s talk about how you’d approach this and the timeline to launch.
