I am looking for an experienced PCB designer to design a production-ready PCB. -Overview The PCB will: Accept a plug-in S3-N16R8 board Include 4 × 8-pin high-current board connectors Be powered via USB-C Power Delivery Provide regulated 5V output Support powering an ESP32 Support a possible 15W wireless charger Be fully engineered (power design, protection, layout, manufacturing ready) -Connector Requirement (Important) Each of the 4 ports must: Be an 8-pin board-mounted connector Allow connection using a female cable plug Be locking and secure (not Dupont type) Support high current safely (minimum 5A total system capacity) Designer should recommend a compact but high-current connector system, such as: Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 (2x4) JST-VH (2x4) Or equivalent professional connector -Not acceptable: JST-XH Dupont headers Low current connectors - Port Pin Definition For each 8-pin port: Pin 1 → 5V (VCC) Pin 8 → GND Pins 2–7 → Signal lines (GPIO / data from ESP32) All ports share: Common regulated 5V rail Common GND plane - Power System Requirements Input: USB-C PD input Must accept standard USB-C chargers Should negotiate 9V or 12V PD profile (designer to recommend best option) Regulation: High-efficiency buck converter Stable 5V output Minimum 5A capability Thermal management considered Protection: Overcurrent protection Short-circuit protection Input protection Per-port protection preferred if possible -Load Requirements Board must support: 5V LED strips General 5V accessories One port possibly powering: 15W wireless charger (~3A at 5V) Total expected load: Around 20W minimum capability Designer must calculate: Proper trace widths Copper thickness Power planes Thermal performance - Deliverables Complete schematic PCB layout BOM (LCSC preferred) Gerber files Pick & Place file 3D renders JLCPCB-ready manufacturing files Documentation -Expectations Compact PCB Clean professional routing Proper ground plane Power plane separation Designed for manufacturability Ready for small-batch production Designer must have prior experience designing: USB-C PD power systems 5V 3A–5A DC power distribution ESP32-based boards
