I need to move a running SIMATIC S5 installation to a modern SIMATIC S7 platform programmed in TIA Portal. My main goal is simply to have a newer system that I can rely on long-term. Current situation • PLC: Siemens S5 with the original source in .S5D format. • HMI: COROS OP 35 with no recoverable source. What I expect 1. Study the existing .S5D code and prepare a clean, commented S7-1500 (or S7-1200 if you advise) program in TIA Portal. 2. Specify all necessary CPUs, I/O modules, communication cards and any wiring adaptations. 3. Re-create the HMI from scratch, matching current workflows. I’m open to touchscreen, richer graphics or remote access if they fit the budget and schedule. 4. Deliver a compiled project, the editable TIA Portal files, and a short commissioning guide so I can load and test the system on site. 5. Optional but welcome: migration report that maps each original S5 block to its new S7 counterpart. I have full access to the plant, can supply photos or wiring diagrams, and can run test sequences remotely if needed. Please outline your proposed hardware lineup, estimated hours for code conversion, and any past S5-to-S7 migrations you’ve completed.
