CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: This site must be built using Native WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) and Full Site Editing (FSE). NO Elementor. * NO Divi / Oxygen / Beaver Builder. NO heavy premium themes. I require a lightweight, clean-code approach (e.g., using a starter theme like GeneratePress, Blocksy, or a custom FSE theme). Key Deliverables: High-Fidelity Figma to Gutenberg: Accurately replicate the Figma design using standard blocks and minimal custom CSS. Native Page Templates: Create 4 specific Page Templates that appear in the standard WordPress "Template" dropdown (Hero Image only, Hero + Latest Posts, Plain Text, etc.). Scroll-Triggered Header: A custom, smooth-animation header that pops up/remains fixed upon scrolling down. This must be lightweight JavaScript or native CSS, not a bulky plugin. Max Mega Menu Integration: Setup and styling of a multi-column Mega Menu to handle hundreds of canal/river links. Performance: The site must achieve 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights (Desktop & Mobile) out of the box. Why this matters: I create content programmatically via AI and RSS feeds. The site architecture must be standard WordPress so that my automated posts can correctly hook into the pre-designed templates without manual editing. Ideal Candidate: Expert in PHP, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript. Deep understanding of the WordPress Template Hierarchy. Experience with FSE (Full Site Editing) and Theme.json.
