We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to build AI tools to accelerate AI development velocity on the Gradient AI Platform team. The Gradient AI Platform team is responsible for creating tools so that developers can easily create AI Agents for real world problems. We’re a fast-pace team looking to build the next generation of AI/ML workflows . What You’ll Be Doing: Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or LLM orchestration tools Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT systems, or event streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar) Work primarily in Typescript, React, and Python Work with Agentic frameworks to build internal assistants for coding, review, SRE tasks, and product launch readiness Indexing data from commercial Jira, GitHub, Pagerduty, and more Collaborate on design and UX Participate and support in operational excellence Independently ship product features from planning to launch to maintenance with high autonomy Collaborate with other engineers to find elegant architectures and solutions What You’ll Add: Strong interest in development platforms, Data Engineering, MLOps, AI, CI/CD, infrastructure or making products for technical teams Able to make effective trade-offs in regard to both engineering and product requirements, while balancing short term and long term needs 5+ years relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment building backend systems Experience with Agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, A2A Experience with Data ingestion and AI data techniques like RAG
