I need to wire SafeSend Return and CCH Axcess together through their available API endpoints so everyday work happens without manual hand-offs. The integration must move client information, financial records, and document files in both directions, then use that data to keep the two systems perfectly in sync, generate the routine reporting I rely on, and trigger timely client notifications. Core objectives • Establish secure, authenticated REST calls that push and pull all three data classes—client profiles, tax/financial data, and attached documents—between SafeSend and CCH Axcess. • Automate the sync so newly created or updated items in either platform appear in the other with no more than a five-minute delay. • Produce scheduled and on-demand summary reports (status, exceptions, audit trails) directly from the aggregated data set. • Fire event-based notifications to clients—e-mail or in-product—when returns are ready, signatures are pending, or documents are received. Acceptance criteria 1. A Postman (or similar) collection that demonstrates each working endpoint with sample payloads. 2. Source code or scripts (Python, Node, or comparable language) that run headless and can be deployed on our Windows server. 3. README that explains environment variables, authentication steps, and a quick-start for the cron/Task Scheduler job. 4. One live demo showing data created in SafeSend appearing in CCH Axcess, the reciprocal flow, an auto-generated report, and a notification sent. If you have prior experience with the SafeSend or CCH Axcess APIs, mention it; otherwise familiarity with OAuth2, REST, JSON, and webhook patterns will be essential.
