I’m finalising a mountain-view retreat in Blue Ridge, Georgia, and the site plan is already locked in. What I still need is a complete interior concept for each villa that feels authentically rustic yet fresh, anchored in a calm, neutral palette that lets the scenery do the talking. Scope The brief covers three main zones in every unit: living room, bedrooms, and the combined kitchen-dining space. Think exposed timber, local stone, hand-forged metal details, warm textures, and muted earth tones that complement the Appalachian backdrop. What I expect to receive • Mood board and inspiration imagery establishing the overall look and palette • Scaled furniture layout for each room • Material and finish schedules (flooring, wall treatments, cabinetry, fixtures) with sourcing notes where possible • 3D renders or visualisations that clearly show daytime and evening ambience • A concise spec sheet so my build team can cost and order items without guesswork I work in SketchUp and Revit, so files compatible with either platform make the hand-off smoother, but high-res PDFs are acceptable for visuals. Acceptance criteria A design is considered complete when every deliverable above is approved and the villa layouts are consistent with the existing architectural plan. If you’ve crafted interiors for cabins, lodges, or boutique mountain homes before, I’d love to see that work. Let’s turn these villas into the kind of hideaway guests never want to leave.
