I run a retail business and I’m ready to centralise three critical workflows—sales, people, and stock—inside one streamlined application. The system must cover: • Sales Management: I only need sales reporting at this stage. Daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards that can be filtered by product, category, and store location will be enough; no POS or CRM features are required right now. • HR Management: An employee directory, attendance capture, and simple leave tracking so I can see who’s on the floor and when. Payroll calculations can be left for a future phase, but the data structure should allow for it. • Inventory Management: Real-time stock levels, reorder alerts, and basic supplier records tied directly to the sales reports so I can spot fast-moving items quickly. Core expectations – Web-based (Laravel, Django, or similar) with a clean, responsive UI. – MySQL or PostgreSQL on the back end, well-structured schema and seed data for testing. – Role-based access: admin, manager, and cashier. – Clear, commented code plus a short setup guide so I can deploy on a standard VPS. Deliverables 1. Functional prototype covering the three modules above. 2. Sample data to demonstrate sales reports and inventory links. 3. Source code in Git along with a concise read-me.
