Project Overview We are building a real-time, multi-user web application with a custom backend engine. The system involves live user interaction, room/session management, and server-driven state updates. The web version is the first phase, with Android and iOS applications planned in later phases. We are looking for a developer to help strengthen, optimize, and extend the system. What We Are Looking For A backend-strong full-stack developer who is comfortable working on real-time systems, not just standard APIs or CRUD dashboards. This role is not suitable for developers who focus only on UI or static websites. Required Skills Backend (Important) Node.js Experience with real-time communication (WebSockets / Socket.IO or similar) Event-driven backend architecture Managing live sessions or rooms Server-side validation and state management Frontend ( React or similar modern framework Handling real-time updates in UI Clean, maintainable component structure Mobile (Future Scope) Experience with React Native or other cross-platform/mobile frameworks is a plus Understanding how to design backend APIs suitable for both web and mobile clients What You Will Work On Improving and stabilizing a real-time backend engine Handling multiple users in shared live sessions Managing edge cases such as disconnects and re-joins Ensuring consistency and correctness of real-time data Preparing the architecture for scaling and mobile clients Detailed domain-specific information will be shared after an initial technical discussion.
