I’m building the first release of a cross-platform social video and recipe application for iOS and Android. The codebase must be written in React Native with TypeScript, using either Zustand or Redux for state management, and wired up to my existing Flask REST API. Core scope • Social interactions—comments, likes, and real-time counters—are the heart of this MVP. Video uploads and recipe sharing can be stubbed for now, but the social layer must feel complete. • Users sign in with a phone-number OTP flow; no email or social logins in this phase. • The interface follows a classic, elegant theme; I’ll share color guidelines and typography samples so the screens stay consistent. • Expo Push Notifications should fire instantly for likes or comment activity, with deep-links into the relevant post. Deliverables - Complete React Native (TypeScript) source, cleanly structured and documented - Seamless integration with the Flask REST API (authentication, feeds, actions) - Unit coverage for critical logic and a few happy-path E2E tests (Jest + Detox preferred) - Working Expo push configuration for both APNs and FCM, tested on real devices - Release-ready builds and store assets so the app can be submitted to the App Store and Google Play without further tweaks Acceptance criteria 1. A new user can register, confirm OTP, and land on the main feed in under one minute. 2. Posts show accurate like/comment counts and update in real time across two devices. 3. A push arrives within five seconds when a user’s post receives a like or comment, tapping it opens the correct screen. 4. The app passes store validation (including privacy labels) and can be downloaded from TestFlight and an internal Play Store track.
