Title: Pull Cisco Switch Configs into Nautobot (≈30 devices) Scope: Set up automated config collection for ~30 Cisco switches (2960, 9200, and a few others) so running/startup configs appear in each device’s Config tab in Nautobot. Preferred approach (flexible): • Nautobot Golden Config + Nornir using Netmiko or NAPALM (your choice). • I typically use Ansible, but use whatever gets the best, reliable result. Requirements: • Proven Nautobot + Golden Config (or equivalent) experience • Cisco IOS/NX-OS familiarity (SSH/enable) • Can handle per-platform drivers and optional jump hosts/custom ports • Secrets management via env or HashiCorp Vault (nice to have) Deliverables: 1. Working job(s) that pull configs on demand and on schedule 2. Configs visible in Nautobot’s Device → Config tab for all targets 3. Basic error handling/reporting (failed device list) 4. Short “how to run” notes I’ll provide: • Nautobot access, read-only device creds (or Vault path), device list/IPs Please reply with: • Brief summary of similar Nautobot work • Proposed toolchain (Netmiko vs NAPALM vs Ansible) • Estimated timeline and price (fixed or hourly)
