I just need to get the frame border overlay showing properly as its very transparent on the preview screen, it shows good on the photo end product though. Also just adjusting the flow of the touch to start, countdown etc. It is working fine but just needt the tweaks. My photo booth is running a small Python app on Linux that composites a PNG overlay onto each captured image. Everything worked until recently, but now the overlay’s colours and alpha layer look wrong—whites appear grey, semi-transparent areas show up as solid blocks, and the final photo just doesn’t match the intended design. Deliverable: a working script or concise diff that restores correct colour and transparency rendering, plus a brief note on what went wrong so I can avoid it next time.
