We’re seeking an experienced WordPress developer to optimize site performance across desktop and mobile, improving real-world load times, Lighthouse/PSI scores, and Core Web Vitals. The goal is tangible performance improvements visitors can notice, particularly for mobile users and event-related pages like the Events Map. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WordPress performance optimization at all layers (server, database, theme, plugins, frontend), with proven success achieving 90+ Lighthouse scores (desktop) and 85–90+ (mobile). Key Responsibilities: Optimize site performance for faster load times and responsiveness. Achieve Lighthouse scores of 90+ (desktop) and 85+ (mobile) on key pages. Ensure "Good" Core Web Vitals for all pages. Improve speed and usability of event-related pages, especially the Events Map. Optimize the Admin Dashboard (wp-admin) for speed and usability. Ensure full site functionality across Elementor and The Events Calendar. Provide detailed before/after reports, including Lighthouse scores, changes made, and any trade-offs. Provide 14 days of post-completion support to address regressions or performance issues.
