I run an e-commerce store on PrestaShop 1.4 and it has recently become painfully slow. Regular page views on the front-end drag, and every click inside the back-office feels delayed. On top of that, the Modules ➜ Positions page in the admin panel refuses to open at all—no error message, just a blank or endlessly loading screen. I’d like a PrestaShop specialist to: • Identify and remove the bottlenecks that are causing long page-load times on both the storefront and the admin panel. This may involve profiling SQL queries, reviewing installed modules, configuring Smart Cache, or fine-tuning server settings—whatever brings measurable speed gains without breaking 1.4 compatibility. • Debug and restore full access to the Positions page so I can once again manage module hooks normally. Once you’re done, I expect noticeably faster load times and a fully functional Positions interface. If you have experience squeezing performance out of older PrestaShop versions, especially 1.4, I’d love to hear how you plan to tackle it and what tools (e.g., Xdebug, MySQL slow-query log, PageSpeed, etc.) you prefer to use.
