JOB DESCRIPTION I’m looking for an experienced quant / trading systems developer to convert an existing trading strategy from MetaTrader 5 (MQL5) into MultiCharts (PowerLanguage / EasyLanguage). This is a code-to-code conversion task, not a strategy design job. SCOPE OF WORK - Convert a fully functional MQL5 Expert Advisor (around 1,200 lines) into a single MultiCharts strategy - Target language: PowerLanguage / EasyLanguage (MultiCharts) - Ensure functional equivalence between MQL5 and MultiCharts implementations - Recreate all inputs and parameters so they are: - Visible in MultiCharts - Adjustable for backtesting and optimization (start / step / stop ready) - Default parameter values must match the provided baseline inputs - Strategy must compile cleanly in MultiCharts (no errors, no warnings) The goal is to enable research, backtesting, and optimization in MultiCharts using historical data. MATERIALS PROVIDED - Full MQL5 source code - A written strategy specification (around 18 pages) explaining the logic in detail - Screenshots of the current input parameters (7 input sections) to be replicated exactly - Clear notes where platform-specific adaptations are required You will always have two references: 1) The original MQL5 code 2) The written strategy documentation IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS - This is a conversion task, not a redesign or optimization - Trading logic must remain strictly unchanged - No simplification or reinterpretation without explicit documentation - Clean, readable, professional code (research-grade) - Discretion is mandatory — an NDA will be required before work starts TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS - Strong experience with MQL5 - Strong experience with MultiCharts PowerLanguage / EasyLanguage Familiarity with: - Bar-based execution - Session-based logic - Risk-based position sizing - Backtesting constraints in MultiCharts - Ability to clearly document any unavoidable platform differences TIMELINE - The MQL5 codebase is around 1,200 lines - PowerLanguage is simpler syntactically - This is expected to be a relatively fast and straightforward conversion for the right profile CONFIDENTIALITY This project is for private research purposes. You will be required to sign an NDA. No redistribution, reuse, or disclosure of the strategy is permitted.
