We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer or agency to migrate and modernize our existing platform. Currently, our platform runs on multiple subdomains in English and Arabic. We want to consolidate everything into one bilingual site where each region is served via a subfolder structure: /en/region → English (main language) /ar/region → Arabic (RTL, manually translated) This is a large-scale project involving: 500,000+ business listings 25,000+ news articles We are open to two approaches: Option A – Use our existing Laravel application (KuwaitLocal.com codebase) Audit current application for performance, SEO, and functionality issues. Fix existing issues and extend code to meet new requirements. Roll out across multiple regions with bilingual support. Option B – Build a fresh Laravel application (from scratch) Rebuild the platform from zero using Laravel. Replicate and enhance all features listed in our functional specification document. Apply modern best practices for scalability, security, and performance. Core Functional Requirements Business Directory → premium/free listings, claim system, packages, dashboards. News Module → categories, tags, views, analytics. Centralized Admin → manage multiple regions + both languages from one place. SEO-first Development (see below). Integrations → Cloudways hosting, Cloudflare Pro, RankMath Pro (or Laravel equivalent), caching, security. Zero-downtime migration with staging → production workflow. Data integrity → preserve IDs, URLs, redirects, and user data. Full cross-browser + mobile responsive testing. 3 months post-launch support (bug fixes + stabilization). SEO Requirements (Mandatory Before Handover) SEO is critical to this project. Developers must deliver ALL SEO items before handover: Clean SEO-friendly URLs with bilingual subfolders. Correct hreflang + canonical tags. Schema markup for listings, news, breadcrumbs, and organization. Editable meta titles & descriptions for all content types. SEO fields for business owners (title, description, OG image). OpenGraph & Twitter Cards. Redirects for all legacy URLs → proper 301 mapping. Dynamic XML sitemaps (split by region/language). Robots.txt auto-generation. Pagination SEO, crawl budget optimization. Performance & Core Web Vitals optimization. Mobile-first SEO checks. Requirements (Must Have) Proven experience with large-scale multilingual directory/news sites. Prior work with English + Arabic (RTL). Migration of large datasets (100K+ records). Strong Laravel expertise (custom development, not just CMS). Deep understanding of SEO for multilingual, multi-region portals. Performance optimization for high-traffic websites. Security expertise (Cloudflare, firewalls, etc.). Deliverables Full migration into a centralized bilingual Laravel site. Business directory + news modules implemented. Centralized dashboard for administrators and business owners. SEO implementation (all items completed). Tested & production-ready deployment.
