I have put together a rough hand-drawn concept for a pair of medical-grade sunglasses and now need it translated into a production-ready 3D model. The final deliverable is a clean, watertight STEP and STL (both) files that will move straight into prototyping and tooling without additional re-work. Here is what you will be working with and what I expect back: • My rough sketch: I will share scans with basic dimensions and notes on curvature. You may refine proportions where needed for ergonomics but the overall silhouette must remain faithful. • Material: all components will be molded in plastic, so wall thickness, draft angles and parting lines should respect common injection-molding practice. • Key feature: flexible temple arms—please incorporate a living-hinge or similar integrated solution in the plastic design so users can bend the temples slightly without stress cracks. Deliverables 1. Parametric CAD source file in your preferred platform (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo, CATIA, etc.) 2. Neutral STEP (.stp) export that passes import validation in SolidWorks 2022. 3. A quick PDF or PNG technical drawing with the main critical dimensions called out so I can double-check fit against my notes. 4. native Solidworks (SLDPRT and SLDDRW) files I have attached CONCEPTUAL DESIGN for your reference. Write “CONCEPTUAL DESIGN” at the top your bid/proposal. If you have experience designing eyewear or other wearables and can show similar STEP files you have supplied for manufacturing, you will jump to the top of the list.
