I need a complete website designed and built for my manufacturing business that produces and supplies roughly 100,000 distinct mechanical components. The core of the site is a large product database, so performance and usability are critical. Scope of work • Design a modern, sleek, fully responsive interface that feels effortless on desktop, tablet and mobile. • Build a back-end structure capable of storing and serving about one hundred thousand SKUs without lag. A relational database is fine if it scales well; if you prefer NoSQL or a hybrid approach, explain your reasoning. • Implement advanced search and filtering so visitors can pinpoint parts by dimensions, material, tolerance, finish, or any other attribute we load. • Provide detailed product categorization (multi-level taxonomy, breadcrumb navigation, and clear URLs) so users never feel lost. Tech flexibility I am open to React, Angular, Vue or another modern front-end framework, and to Node, Django, Laravel or similar on the server side. ElasticSearch, Solr or smart SQL indexing are welcome if they keep searches lightning fast. Just pick tools you are comfortable maintaining and justify the choice. Deliverables 1. Fully functional website deployed on my hosting. 2. Admin panel for bulk import / update of parts (CSV or API). 3. Documentation covering tech stack, deployment, and data model. 4. Two weeks of post-launch support for bug fixes. Acceptance criteria • Search results appear in under 1 second for typical queries. • Category pages load in under 2 seconds with full images. • All pages score 90+ on Google Lighthouse mobile and desktop. If you have built large-catalog sites, especially in manufacturing or engineering, I would love to see them. Let’s create a site that makes finding the right component as precise and reliable as the parts themselves.
