Hiring for 3 months period : Mechanical Design Engineer | SolidWorks | Sheet Metal | Product Simplification I am looking for a mechanical design engineer with solid experience in SolidWorks and sheet metal design to support the development of metal housings and related components for renewable energy products. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to transform a concept into a smart, production-efficient product. Main responsibilities: Develop and improve sheet metal product designs in SolidWorks Redesign existing structures to reduce material use, weight, and assembly time Create practical solutions for large-volume manufacturing Prepare 3D models, 2D production drawings, flat patterns, and BOMs Support prototyping and design-for-manufacturing improvements Work in close cooperation through frequent online design sessions What I am looking for: Strong SolidWorks skills Good experience with sheet metal, folded parts, stamped parts, and riveted assemblies Practical understanding of manufacturing logic and cost-efficient construction Ability to simplify structures without losing function or strength Clear communication in English Fast response and disciplined follow-up Strong plus: Experience with battery boxes, inverter enclosures, mounting structures, or outdoor products Experience with IP-rated enclosure design Experience working with factories and prototype revisions To apply, please send me: Your CV A few relevant project examples Your monthly salary expectation Your availability Your current location Please message me directly if this fits your profile or if you know someone suitable. 1
