I need my legacy IRCTC automation tool brought up to speed with the railway site’s latest Akamai-backed security stack. The primary goal is a full software upgrade for Akamai security compliance—nothing less than rock-solid handling of the new bot-protection flows, tokenization requirements, and session-validation checks. You should already have hands-on experience building or maintaining IRCTC-related software, so the IRCTC login, captcha, and ticket-booking steps (including multi-factor prompts) are familiar territory. I will provide the existing source, sample accounts, and the traffic capture we use for regression testing. Your job is to: • Refactor or rewrite the relevant authentication and booking modules so they negotiate Akamai’s token system correctly, survive fingerprinting, and keep sessions valid without manual resets. • Prove that bot protection, tokenization, and session-validation hurdles are passed consistently through automated tests—headless as well as with a visible browser—for both single and concurrent bookings. • Deliver clean, well-commented code plus a short implementation note that explains where and how you intercept or reproduce Akamai tokens, which headers/cookies you persist, and how to refresh them when they expire. I will test the upgrade against live IRCTC endpoints; the project is complete once I can run end-to-end bookings at the same speed as before—with zero manual interventions and no Akamai blocks. Key Requirements: • ✅ Must have prior hands-on experience updating IRCTC software post-Akamai integration. • ✅ Deep understanding of IRCTC’s login flow, captcha handling, session management, and booking APIs. • ✅ Familiarity with Akamai’s security layers—especially sensor data, cookie generation, and header validation. • ✅ Ability to reverse-engineer and refactor legacy code to meet new compliance standards. • ✅ Should ensure the updated software is stable, secure, and optimized for speed and reliability. Deliverables: • Refactored and upgraded IRCTC software compatible with Akamai security. • Documentation of changes made, including security handling and workflow updates. • Final testing and validation to ensure smooth login, search, and booking operations. • Optional: Ongoing support for future IRCTC updates. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with IRCTC’s mobile/web APIs • Understanding of bot mitigation techniques and secure session handling Note: Only apply if you have demonstrable experience with IRCTC software and Akamai security. Please share past work or references related to IRCTC automation or upgrades.
