I’m finalising a new product and need a highly detailed 3D model that captures every intricate part so our engineering and marketing teams can move straight into prototyping and photorealistic rendering. The model will be used for both technical review and polished visuals, so accuracy and clean topology are equally important. You’ll be working from concept sketches, reference photos, and a preliminary CAD outline. Dimensions are locked, but I’m open to suggestions on assembly solutions if you spot potential improvements while modelling. Deliverables • Production-ready 3D file (STEP or SolidWorks native preferred; OBJ/FBX for renders) • Layered, organised scene with logically named components • Native textures/material definitions, ready for PBR workflows • A short hand-off note explaining key decisions and any tolerances assumed Acceptance criteria • All parts modelled to scale within ±0.1 mm tolerance • No non-manifold geometry; clean, watertight mesh suitable for 3D printing • Components can be exploded without overlaps; screw holes and snap-fits aligned If you’re comfortable working in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar professional software and have a portfolio of complex product models, I’d love to see your work and timeline.
