I already have a complete, responsive SaaS front-end for an AI Shorts Generator—landing page, auth flow, creator dashboard, upload/YouTube link intake, clip library, virality score display, billing, settings, the lot. What I’m missing is the brain behind it. I need an engineer who can attach robust backend AI services so the site ships as a real product, not just a template. I’m happy with the existing UI “as-is,” so your focus will be functionality, not redesign. Core features to wire up • AI video editing: take an uploaded long-form video or a YouTube URL, detect highlights, and output multiple short clips ready for the front-end workflow UI. • AI transcription: generate accurate captions so clips can display subtitles and support text-based search. • AI content recommendation: score each generated short for virality potential and surface the best clips on the library page. Please choose the stack you’re most comfortable with—Python (FastAPI, LangChain, ffmpeg), Node, or another proven solution—as long as you can deploy it cleanly and expose REST or GraphQL endpoints that my React front-end can consume. Acceptance criteria 1. Given a sample 10-minute video, the system returns at least three timestamped short clips with captions. 2. Each clip arrives with a numeric “virality score” generated by your model or heuristic. 3. All endpoints are documented (Postman or Swagger) and live on a test server I can access. 4. Integration is plug-and-play: drop-in env variables for keys (OpenAI, AWS, etc.) and a single install script. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, share a brief outline of your intended architecture, preferred AI/cloud services, and an estimated timeline for turning the site from template to production-ready SaaS.
