Description: We are looking for detail-oriented freelancers currently based in Australia (Sydney or Melbourne) to conduct in-store research on vape products at tobacco and vape specialty stores. What you'll do: *Visit assigned tobacco/vape stores in your city (we will provide the full list of addresses) *Upon arrival: 1.Document the store environment and how the target vape brand is displayed: where it's positioned on shelves, visibility of promotional signage, current stock levels 2.Have a casual conversation with the store owner/manager to understand: -How well this brand/product sells compared to competitors -Customer feedback and common questions about the product -Price points and any promotions they run -How frequently they reorder and what their inventory looks like 3.Complete a simple reporting template with your findings Deliverables per store: 1.Completed checklist with all required information about product placement and stock 2.Summary of what you learned from the store owner/manager (≈300-400 words) Requirements: 1.Must be currently located in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia (on-ground only) 2.Available to visit 10 stores per week (flexible schedule) 3.Friendly, comfortable approaching store staff for brief conversations 4.Strong attention to detail - accuracy matters more than speed 5.Prior experience in market research, mystery shopping, or retail is a plus, but not required Payment: 1. We pay per completed store, not hourly: AUD $30 per store depending on location 2.
