We are seeking a highly skilled 3D character artist specializing in real-time hair creation using alpha cards and textures. The ideal candidate must have proven experience producing game-ready hair assets, including the creation and placement of hair cards, alpha maps, and optimized texture workflows. You should have a strong understanding of real-time pipelines, including efficient topology, shader setup, and performance optimization for in-engine use. Experience with layering hair cards to build volume and natural flow, as well as balancing visual quality with polygon budgets, is essential. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Blender, Maya, or similar software is expected, along with the ability to create clean UVs, bake textures, and export fully functional assets for real-time environments. IMPORTANT: Applicants must provide relevant portfolio examples demonstrating previous work with alpha hair / hair cards for game characters. Submissions without clear examples of this specific skillset will not be considered.
