We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer to build a language testing website hosted on AWS - no mobile app for now - The platform will allow users to run, manage, and review language tests (e.g., text, speech, multilingual, or AI-generated language outputs) through a web interface. The focus is on scalable backend architecture, clean frontend UX, and automated language evaluation workflows deployed entirely on AWS. Responsibilities • Design and develop a web-based language testing platform • Build frontend UI for creating, running, and reviewing language tests • Develop backend APIs and services on AWS • Integrate language processing components (NLP, LLMs, speech, or rule-based tests) • Implement user authentication, roles, and access control • Store test data, results, and logs securely • Ensure scalability, performance, and cost efficiency on AWS • Provide documentation and deployment instructions Required Skills • Strong experience with AWS web architectures (Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch) • Full-stack development experience: o Backend: Python (preferred) or Node.js o Frontend: React, Vue, or similar framework • REST API design and integration • Experience building web dashboards or data-driven web apps • Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD Language / AI Experience (Required) • Experience with language testing or evaluation, such as: o NLP or text analysis o Chatbot or conversational systems o Translation or multilingual applications o Speech recognition or text-to-speech o LLM-based applications and prompt testing Nice to Have • Experience with AWS language services (Comprehend, Transcribe, Translate, Bedrock) • Experience with user analytics or reporting dashboards • Knowledge of language quality metrics or scoring systems • UI/UX experience for test or QA platforms Deliverables • Fully functional language testing website deployed on AWS • Secure authentication and user management • Backend APIs and test execution workflows • Documentation for setup, deployment, and future extension • Optional: admin dashboard and reporting features Project Type • Fixed-price • Remote • Potential for ongoing development and maintenance To Apply, Please Include 1.
