I rely on Freescout to manage support workflows and I now need a way to create tasks that automatically repeat. The core requirements are: • Users must be able to set tasks that recur every week or every month directly from the task-creation screen. • A custom pattern of “every 2 weeks” is essential; the system should store and honour that interval exactly. • All other recurrence details (start date, time, assigned user, ticket/thread linkage and optional end date) should be editable in a clean UI that matches the existing Freescout look and feel. • Tasks should appear in the standard task list and trigger the normal reminders/notifications that one-off tasks do. • Configuration needs to survive updates, so please implement this either as a self-contained Freescout module or clearly documented code override. In addition, Need the option to create other Statuses. I am open to any sensible technical approach—Freescout is a Laravel application, so a service provider, command scheduler or queued job are all fine as long as the end result is stable and easy to maintain.
