I migrated a WordPress site from GCP to GoDaddy and requested assistance from GoDaddy's WordPress Premium Support team. You will see below that they were able to troubleshoot the issues and suggested I reach out to somebody via freelancer.com. ---------- Thank you for contacting us regarding your website, https://pick-quick.com/ I have reviewed your site and can confirm the issue you reported, as shown in this screenshot: https://ibb.co/nqhv97b2 During troubleshooting, I found two separate issues affecting your site: Missing Adobe Fonts CSS File: Your website is trying to load a CSS file from Adobe Fonts (formerly Typekit) at https://use.typekit.net/dsk8hop.css, but the file is no longer available (see: https://prnt.sc/WP7UIqVH1gad ). This file contained essential styling for fonts and other design elements. Its unavailability is disrupting your site's appearance. This usually happens when the font kit is deleted or deactivated, or when the related Adobe Creative Cloud subscription expires. Empty Media Library & Broken Images: Your local media library is completely empty. The site was using the WP-Stateless plugin to serve images from Google Cloud, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/bPncAc7NxU0l. That connection is no longer active, and to troubleshoot the issue, access to the original Google account used for this integration would be required. Based on this analysis, these issues are unrelated to the migration and were not caused by the old server being shut down. They would have happened even if the site had stayed on the previous hosting. The good news is that a copy of the missing images is available on the current server in the following folder: /html/_CloudTech/pick-quick.com/files/pick-quick.com Website (20250414)/pick-quick_bucket/wp-content/uploads There are two possible ways to resolve this issue: Reconnect the WP-Stateless plugin. This is the fastest way to restore all images. However, you would need to contact the person or team who originally built the site, as they may still have access to the Adobe and Google accounts where the assets were stored. Rebuild all the pages using local images. This approach removes the need for any third-party services. However, it requires updating the source code for nearly all page templates in your custom WordPress theme. The theme is tightly integrated with the WP-Stateless plugin, and most templates load images from Google Cloud via the get_bucket() function, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/UctLYTHGKW4W Unfortunately, we cannot apply either of these solutions for the following reasons: We do not have access to the Adobe or Google accounts used to store the missing assets. Even if access were provided, we are not permitted to sign in on your behalf due to our security policies. Rebuilding the pages with local images requires extensive changes to the source code in nearly all template files, which is outside the scope of our support. For more information on what our service does not cover, please see: https://www.godaddy.com/help/services-wp-premium-support-wont-do-27149 ( the screenshot of the relevant section: https://prnt.sc/SzfWuIAh5m_g ) I understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Suggested next steps: Contact the person or team who originally built the site. If they still have access to the Adobe and Google accounts that stored the missing assets, they should be able to reconnect the WP-Stateless plugin and fetch the missing CSS file. If that is not an option, you may need to hire a developer to update the theme code and remove the get_bucket() function from all templates so that images load from the local server. The archived version of your site may help during this process: https://web.archive.org/web/20250303160511/https://www.pick-quick.com/. You can find experienced WordPress developers on platforms https://www.upwork.com or https://freelancer.com. These sites make it easy to review profiles, compare rates, and choose someone who fits your needs. Developer notes: Backup created using the Pro Sites Screenshot before: https://ibb.co/nqhv97b2 Web Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20250303160511/https://www.pick-quick.com/ The missing images and CSS are being fetched from Adobe and Google Cloud services: https://prnt.sc/bPncAc7NxU0l . These integrations are no longer working, and fixing the issue would require access to the accounts used for these integrations. Rebuilding the pages with local images requires extensive changes to the source code in nearly all template files. The custom-built theme is tightly integrated with the WP-Stateless plugin, as most templates load images from Google Cloud via the get_bucket() function provided by the plugin: https://prnt.sc/UctLYTHGKW4W ---------- Additionally, the Easy WP SMTP plugin is not connecting to Google Workspace. In addition to resolving the issues above, I would like for the site to be reviewed for any updates and optimization. I have no access to the previous host nor files besides what was copied over.
