My WordPress site runs an old, non-updatable version of Elementor and both embedded contact forms throw a specific error as soon as the Send button is pressed. Pages load perfectly; the problem appears only on submission. I don’t need a rebuild or a plugin overhaul—just get at least one of these existing Elementor forms to submit successfully and deliver the messages to my mailbox. Rolling back or upgrading the entire site isn’t an option right now, so the fix must work with the present Elementor version and the active theme. Deliverable: • A working contact form on the live site, tested end-to-end with a confirmation message and email delivery. Once I click Send and receive the test email without that error, the job is done.
