I have a codebase I’m genuinely proud of, yet a handful of pesky bugs in the APIs and third-party integrations are undermining its true potential. I need an experienced developer who can dive into the existing repository, trace the root causes, and restore full functionality without breaking anything that already works. Scope of work • Audit the current API and integration layer to replicate all reported failures. • Pinpoint and resolve the underlying bugs, ensuring every endpoint returns expected data and proper HTTP status codes. • Add or update unit / integration tests so the fixes are covered and regressions are caught early. • Provide a concise changelog and technical notes explaining what was fixed and why. What I’ll supply • Read-only access to the live environment for initial troubleshooting. • Full repository access (Git) for implementation and pull-request review. • A list of known error messages, failing test cases, and any relevant API documentation. Acceptance criteria • All previously failing calls must succeed and pass automated tests. • No new errors or warnings introduced in the build pipeline. • Clear, well-commented code that aligns with the project’s existing style guide. If you enjoy untangling API logic and delivering clean, reliable fixes, I’d love to work with you. The software needs to be responsive and once all the issues are addressed deploy the software.
