Senior Backend Developer for Fintech Infrastructure (Ledger, Wallet, Token System) Job Description We are building a Fintech, a next-generation digital financial infrastructure designed for the FCFA region , compliant with central bank regulations We are looking for an experienced backend developer (or team) to design and implement the core financial infrastructure, including: Wallet system Ledger-based accounting engine Tokenized value system (KVT) Secure REST APIs Bank integration layer Scalable cloud-native architecture This infrastructure will power multiple applications including mobile payments, ride-hailing, delivery, and merchant payments. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a secure ledger-based financial system Develop wallet and transaction services Build scalable REST APIs Implement authentication and security best practices Integrate with banking systems (or simulate integration) Ensure scalability, reliability, and auditability Required Skills Strong experience in backend development (Node.js, Go, or Java preferred) Experience with fintech, payments, wallets, or financial systems Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases Experience designing scalable APIs Understanding of secure system design Preferred: Experience with ledger systems, payment systems, or fintech infrastructure Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
