What’s missing are the big-ticket features that make it truly social: user profiles, a real-time messaging system, and an engaging news feed. The codebase is React Native + Expo with a Firebase backend, and the goal is to ship seamlessly to iOS, Android, and the web from that single repository. Here’s the vision: a lively, colorful interface with smooth micro-interactions and bright gradients that keep things fun without sacrificing usability. You’ll tie the new screens into my existing auth flow, wire them to Firestore, and wrap everything behind feature flags so we can roll out incrementally. Comfortable use of GitFlow, TypeScript, Firebase Firestore, Cloud Messaging, and Expo EAS is essential. Completion is confirmed when I can install the TestFlight build, load the Android internal test, open the web version without console errors, create a profile, post to the feed, and exchange real-time messages between two test accounts.
