Job Description: Odoo Python Developer (5+ Years Experience) - Location: [Remote] - Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years - Salary: As per industry standards - Employment Type: 6 Months Project based About the Role We are looking for an experienced Odoo Python Developer with a strong background in developing, customizing, and integrating Odoo ERP modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing robust business solutions, enhancing system performance, and ensuring seamless integration across various business applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and customize Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, etc.) as per business needs. • Work with Odoo backend (Python) and frontend (XML, JavaScript, OWL) frameworks. • Implement new business logic, workflows, and reports using the Odoo ORM. • Integrate Odoo with third-party APIs and external systems. • Maintain and upgrade existing Odoo implementations (v13–v17 preferred). • Collaborate with functional consultants and UI/UX teams to deliver complete ERP solutions. • Optimize performance, security, and reliability of Odoo applications. • Provide technical documentation and support for developed features. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development. • Strong expertise in Python, Odoo ORM, and PostgreSQL. • Proficient in XML, JavaScript, OWL framework, and QWeb templates. • Good understanding of Odoo architecture, MVC, and modular development. • Experience with Linux/Ubuntu, Git, and Odoo deployment on cloud or on-premise servers. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON-RPC integration. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Odoo Enterprise and Odoo.sh. • Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines. • Contribution to Odoo Community and open-source projects is a plus. • Ability to handle client interactions and provide technical leadership.
