I have an existing Task Management System built with Java, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It already handles user registration, task creation, updates and progress tracking, but I now need a round of polishing and growth. Improvements I want right away involve • giving the interface a cleaner, more responsive look and feel, • tightening performance so pages load quickly even with a large task list, and • hardening security around authentication, role-based access and data storage. On top of that, I’d like to expand the product with new functionality—think calendar-style views, smart notifications or whatever you propose—and connect it with popular collaboration tools (for example Slack, Microsoft Teams or Google services). If you have ideas for seamless integrations, I’m eager to hear them. You will be working in the existing codebase, so solid experience with Java back-ends, MySQL optimisation and modern front-end practices (ES6+, responsive CSS, maybe a touch of React or Vue if it speeds things up) will be important. Deliver cleaned-up code, clear setup instructions and a brief changelog so I can track what has been improved or added. I’m ready to share the current repository and a sample data set as soon as we agree on scope and timeline.
