I have already coded the skeleton of my news website in PHP, HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript, splitting it into a public user view and a secure admin dashboard. I now need a developer to plug in the remaining logic and polish the experience on both sides. On the user-facing side I want a smooth, paginated news feed that can surface breaking news, longer feature pieces and opinion columns. Each article needs its own clean URL, a comment thread beneath it and a lightweight search bar that can sweep the full archive by keyword or tag. Inside the admin area I should be able to: • create, edit and delete articles (including the thumbnail “news card” and rich-text body) • manage registered readers and moderators, toggling roles or disabling accounts when needed • see basic analytics: daily visits, top-read stories, comment volume, referrer breakdown, all presented in a simple chart or table The current codebase lives in a private Git repository; you will receive access as soon as we agree on milestones. I am happy with PHP procedural code but will welcome refactoring into OOP or a light framework if that speeds things up without heavy rewrites. Deliverables 1. Fully functional user feed with comments and search integrated into the existing UI 2. Admin dashboard modules for content, users and analytics, wired to MySQL 3. Clear install/update instructions plus a short read-me explaining any third-party libraries you add I test on Chrome, Firefox and a recent mobile Safari, so please keep responsiveness in mind. Let me know your approach and the estimated turnaround and we can get started right away.
