I’m ready to start taking payments through my existing e-commerce website and need someone who has hands-on experience wiring a payment gateway into a live store. The site is already built and operational; what’s missing is a seamless, fully tested checkout flow that accepts major cards, handles refunds, and records transactions cleanly in the back-office. We are a new ISO company looking for a person to handle technical integration for existing merchant and new merchants leaving Pay Pal, Stripe or Square. I am looking for a person that fits our business model, security requirements, and expected transaction volume. Here’s how I see the collaboration: • Audit the current checkout architecture, identify touchpoints for the API calls, and map out any database changes we’ll need. • Propose the most suitable gateway with clear pros, cons, and fee structures. • Implement the integration, including tokenization, webhooks/IPN handling, and secure storage of customer data in keeping with PCI-DSS best practices. • Possible -Run end-to-end sandbox and live tests—success, fail, refund, and partial capture scenarios—so nothing breaks once we start charging real money. • Provide concise hand-off documentation (API keys placement, environment variables, troubleshooting tips) so my in-house team can manage future updates. Acceptance criteria: a working checkout that processes at least one live $1 transaction without errors, displays accurate order status to customers and admins, and passes a quick code review for security and stability.
