I want to see exact stock levels for every SKU and variant, trigger low-stock alerts, and have orders automatically deduct from available quantities. Weekly updates are perfectly acceptable; a scheduled job or API call that syncs with the warehouse database every seven days is all that’s required, provided it logs any discrepancies. Although real-time syncing isn’t necessary, the back-office must let me override counts manually and push an immediate refresh whenever I choose. There’s no current requirement for product categorization or discount tools, but please design with future add-ons in mind.
