I’m starting a ground-up rollout of Dynamics 365 Business Central and need a consultant who has already taken companies from discovery to go-live. The immediate scope covers full configuration of Finance, Sales, and Inventory, and I expect guidance on any additional process-oriented modules that will streamline our operations. The work begins with designing the chart of accounts, posting groups, and workflows, then moves into data migration—RapidStart packages will be our primary tool, so proven experience cleansing and mapping legacy data is essential. Once the core is stable, I’ll look to you to build role-specific dashboards, KPIs, and ad-hoc reports in Power BI, and to fine-tune approval workflows or custom extensions in AL where vanilla functionality falls short. Key milestones I need to hit: • Base configuration of Finance, Sales, Inventory live in a sandbox environment • Legacy data imported, validated, and signed off by key users • Tailored Power BI reports published and connected to BC • User acceptance testing completed, followed by classroom and “at-desk” training sessions • Cut-over plan executed and first month-end closed inside Business Central For acceptance, each milestone must include documentation of setup decisions, user guides, and a short Loom or Teams video walkthrough.
