I need two separate, fully-functional notification and alert agents to support our company-scouting workflow. Process 1 – Company Deck & Website Monitor • Continuously scan company-provided pitch decks (PDF, PPT) and public website pages. • Extract key market signals, milestones, and product updates using Python with libraries such as BeautifulSoup, pdfplumber, or LangChain document loaders. • Trigger real-time alerts—preferably via Slack and email—whenever new language around funding rounds, customer wins, or major roadmap changes is detected. Process 2 – Market-Trend Sentinel • Scrape broader internet sources (news sites, industry blogs, analyst portals) for trend keywords we define. • Aggregate findings, identify sentiment shifts, and push a concise daily digest with hyperlinks and a short commentary section. • Provide an on-demand query option so the team can ask, “What changed today in AI chip startups?” and get an instant synthesized answer. Core needs – Notification and alert agents are the priority; all data handling is in service of timely, accurate alerts. – Sources include company decks, official sites, plus open web scraping—no paid data feeds for now. – Code must be modular and well-commented so we can extend it to other sectors later. – Deliverables: runnable scripts, setup instructions (Docker or virtualenv), and a brief Loom walkthrough. – Success criteria: agents run unattended for 72 hours, capture at least three real updates each, and deliver alerts with <10-minute latency. If you have previous experience building market-monitoring bots or integrating Slack/email alerting, I’m eager to see it.
