I operate a grocery shop and need a tailor-made web application that lets my staff and me monitor stock in real time. The site must be custom-built—no WordPress, Shopify or other off-the-shelf platforms—so the database structure, workflows and interface can grow with the business. Core purpose • Track inventory levels with add, edit, receive-shipment and manual-adjustment screens. • Show an at-a-glance dashboard that flags low-stock items automatically. What I expect • Clean, responsive front-end that works on desktop and tablets. • Secure login with role-based permissions (manager vs. cashier). • Simple CSV import/export for initial data load and periodic backups. • Basic reports: current stock, movement history and reorder suggestions. • Well-commented code (Laravel, Django, Node or similar) plus a README so another developer could pick it up easily. • Deployment on my VPS and 30 days of post-launch support to iron out any bugs. There’s no strict deadline; I care more about a solid, maintainable solution than rushing it out. Share a brief overview of your proposed stack, links to comparable inventory or ERP projects you built, and any questions you need answered before you quote.
