I’m building Pop-Up World, an MVP that lets people discover and share short-lived events around them. I need a developer (or small team) who can take the project end-to-end in 4–8 weeks, with React Native or Flutter on the front end and a lightweight, cloud-based back end. Core scope • Ship a single codebase that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android. • Integrate a live map showing real-time location updates, user locations, and every event pin as it goes live. • Allow users to sign in with their preferred social media account; minimal friction is crucial. • Provide an event feed where users can scroll, filter by distance or category, and tap through to detail pages. • Build posting forms so anyone can add an event, set an auto-expire timer, and push it instantly to the map and feed. • Send out push notifications when a new event pops up nearby or one the user follows is about to start. • Process simple payments (Stripe or similar) for premium listings. • Store all data securely, expose location search, and surface basic analytics (daily active users, events posted, etc.). Tech expectations Front end: React Native or Flutter, Maps SDK, FCM/APNs, Stripe SDK. Back end: Node.js, Firebase, or another modern serverless stack—open to your recommendation as long as it scales and keeps costs lean. Deliverables 1. Source code for the mobile app and back end 2. Deployed test build on TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing 3. Minimal yet clean UI/UX in line with the Pop-Up World brand palette (I can supply colors and logo) 4. One-page setup/hand-off doc plus a brief walkthrough call I’ll handle partnerships, marketing, and user feedback while you focus on building, testing, and iterating. If this sounds like a project you can drive to the finish line quickly and cleanly, let’s talk milestones and start dates.
